  1. Miru Kim: Naked City Spleen

    Self portraits has always fascinated me, nude ones even more… At college I did a series of them myself, which amongst many things taught me allot about self boundaries. Often (especially) as a female artist it’s hard to avoid meeting those who doesn’t seem to look behind the fact that you are naked.

    New York-based artist Miru Kim presents photographs of the abandoned urban underground, in her series Naked City Spleen. I believe this is as far as you can get from -just beeing about finding your most flattering angle. You can watch her talk about the project HERE.
